Mary

Mary has been nursing for over 30 years. Her passion is for working with expectant families. Mary has nursed at Royal Columbian Hospital for 20 years. She has worked as a clinical nursing instructor for Trinity Western University. Presently, Mary works as a labour and delivery nurse at Langley Memorial Hospital as well as an RN in the Community Birth Program and a Home Nurse for Antepartum Care at Jim Pattison Maternity Clinics. Mary’s genuine care for families shows in how she learns people’s stories and positively engages with them. Her strong belief that if people are empowered with relevant, practical information on labour, they will gain confidence entering an exciting, but often frightening, time of childbirth. Mary’s love for family extends beyond her four children and her husband Bob through reaching out to mentor young couples.
